Nikolay Zvyagin is a cop and a talented amateur musician convicted of a crime of passion after learning about his wife’s infidelity. In jail he meets a career criminal who hires him as his personal bodyguard after Nikolay’s release from prison. Incidentally a pretty young woman Nikolay meets in the bar and has a one-night fling turns out to be his boss’ wife. Their steamy affair lasts until the boss’ assassination. Now free and rich the lovers can be together. But will they be happy?
